Candidate Forum for 2011 At-Large City County Council Race

2011 LWV-Indianapolis Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters of Indianapolis conducted an At-Large City County Council candidate forum on Saturday, September 24 at the Indianapolis Public Library Central Library. Four Democratic, three Republican, and one Libertarian candidate participated.
Candidates were asked a wide variety of questions ranging on their thoughts about abandoned housing and funding for public transit to the possible renaming of Georgia Street.

The LWV also asked candidates to supply, in writing, a repsonse to the following question: "The LWV is an all-volunteer organization. Members engage in voter service and education activities they strongly believe this work makes our community stronger. Where do you volunteer your time and why?"
