Contacting Elected Officials

Need to find out who your elected official is and how to contact him or her?

Visit the Indiana Secretary of State's IndianaVoters.com site and look for the link "See Who My Elected Officials Are." In Marion County, you can also use the Marion County Election Board's Voter Information Portal. Both sights will also help you find your elected official's contact information.

Phone calls and e-mail are the most effective ways to reach an elected official - and your contact does make a difference. Keep your message focused. Be respectful. When applicable, reference the specific piece of legislation (i.e., bill number) that concerns you. Remember to include your postal address and other contact information. (This is true for letters to the editor as well!)
